SPREADING THE SPIRIT AND ENERGY OF WUSHU THROUGH PERFORMANCES

We're spreading the spirit, energy, and philosophical ideas of wushu through performances. These performances allow audience members to become fully immersed in wushu, especially with the music, choreography, and costumes. These performances not only allow viewers to experience wushu, they also provide students with a great experience. Through these performances, students learn about working as a team, as everyone must be exactly in sync for the performance to be at its highest quality. Performances also allow students to showcase the skills that they have worked incredibly hard to master, giving them a much needed boost of confidence when hearing the audience clap and cheer for them at the end of their routine.

Hongwu Golden Dragon Academy
Holiday Performance

On December 17, 2022, Hongwu Golden Dragon Academy started the Christmas season with its first anniversary Hongwu Golden Dragon Academy Holiday Performance, which was held as an outdoor show at Carmel Valley Recreation Center/Amphitheater.

The holiday performance was a way of allowing the students of the school to show their ongoing growth as the younger generation, and express their gratitude towards parents, teachers, and students in the community.

The performance kicked off with the appearance of seven young students from the school, Teresa Tian, Kate Zhao, Addison Lam, Alice Wang, Shanshan Mu, Emma Cheng and Melody Hui. Hosting and presenting is not easy--it is an art form--and these young hosts did it with style and a sweet voice swelling with confidence. After each performance, the feelings of joy and elation for the new season grew; no doubt, the holiday spirit was shared throughout the community in this school performance.

Thanks to the joint efforts and dedication of the community family, the performance successfully ended on a joyous and ceremonial note.
