We are doing our part in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic by helping health care professionals combat the spread of the Coronavirus, as well as by helping small businesses safely reopen. We have raised funds to make 500 face shields and our members, from kindergarteners to high schoolers, are currently working around the clock to finish our goal of 500 face shields. We have already distributed hundreds of them to local businesses, nurseries, and clinics including Kaiser Permanente, Hairstylist Lolita Pellos, and Together Hospice Care. We have even donated face shields internationally to hospitals in Tijuana, Mexico. As we are continuing to receive donations, we are preparing supplies to make a second round of 500 face shields to support even more businesses.
